Today I am introducing my favourite yum cha restaurant in KL! Actually…it’s the only yum cha restaurant I’ve been to so far (3 times), but because it’s so good I haven’t wanted to try any other places yet!

Thank you to the Hari Raya public holidays, today we visited the branch closest to our home – Old Town, Selangor for lunch. They have a total of 8 outlets in KL.

Thousand year egg & pork congee

What is yum cha without congee, right? The congee was thick, with generous portions of egg and pork. Loved the extra flavour from the ginger shreds! Highly recommended.
Steamed Chicken Claw, Siu-Mai & Har Gaw

The chicken claw is different to the flavour i’m used to in NZ, so I thought it was just ok. Both the siu m
ai and har gaw were above expectations with lots of meat/shrimp and lots of flavour.
