Bak Kut Teh (pork bone broth) is famous in Malaysia. I’ve tried it twice in KL (once at Lot 10, once at Four Seasons food court), they were both disappointing experiences. I told my colleague that I don’t like the Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia, because the meat is not tender (like the ones we get in Taiwan). He recommended I go to Klang, which is around 20min drive out of KL and is famous for their Bak Kut Teh shops.
The boyfriend, took me to Weng Heong BKT, and it did not let me down!

We arrived at 1pm on a Sunday. Even though the restaurant was full, we were able to find a table for 2.
Menu and prices on the wall.

A plate of vegetables (for a balanced meal). Very nice with the fried garlic.
Each table gets a small serving of Yu Char Kuih (Chinese Crullers). For you to dip into the BKT soup or can be eaten alone (how I like them).
